Centennial SUBARU Honors Centennial Hills Hospital Nurses

Centennial SUBARU delivered 270 Chick-fil-A box lunches and vouchers for free car washes to 270 hard working and dedicated nurses at Centennial Hills Hospital in recognition of May National Nurses Month. The American Nurses Association designated May as National Nurses Month in honor of nurses’ unwavering commitment to patients, communities and our healthcare systems.

“Nursing is such a challenging profession that many times require nurses to put in long and stressful hours caring for their patients,” Centennial SUBARU General Manager Ryon Walters said. “This was vividly brought home when we all saw the tired faces of nurses dealing with the stress and pressure of caring for COVID patients. Many times because their patients were in isolation, it was only a nurse holding their hand trying to encourage them to hold on and fight to live. And sadly, many times before one of these patients died, the last face they saw was a nurse holding their hand and hovering over their bed.” “We are so grateful and honored to be able to recognize our nurses at Centennial Hills Hospital this May,” Walters added. “We hope they enjoy the lunches, and we look forward to meeting each and everyone of them when they drop by to have their vehicles washed.”

Share the Meals at Centennial SUBARU

Centennial SUBARU employees recently hosted a Share the Meals at Centennial SUBARU lunch in its parking area for customers, friends, family and employees courtesy of a Sticky Iggy’s food truck. Anyone who donated $10 to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada was able to enjoy the very best Chicken and Waffles the Las Vegas has to offer. Centennial SUBARU raised $650 for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada.

Join us at Centennial SUBARU for food-truck meals every second Saturday of the month to support the Southern Nevada chapter that provides voluntary after-school programs for young people. “The Boys and Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada is a wonderful organization that provides a great experience for our youth,” General Manager Ryon Walters said. “Our family at Centennial SUBARU is please that we can provide continuous financial support to our local chapter, ensuring that boys and girls will enjoy fulfilling after-school programs.”

Three Square Food Bank Recognizes Centennial SUBARU For Their Support

Centennial SUBARU was recognized for its corporate donation of $34,859 to Three Square at the retailer’s recent Grand Opening at the Three Square Food Bank’s Bag Childhood Hunger Fundraising event, graciously underwritten by the Bennett Family Foundation. The donation was made possible through SUBARU’s Love Promise® national campaign called the Subaru Share the Love® Event, where for every customer who purchased a vehicle, Centennial SUBARU made a $500 donation in their name to Three Square. SUBARU of America also donated to the charity, all in support of Three Square’s goal of ending childhood hunger. Since opening in 2007, Three Square has provided more than 528 million pounds of food to hundreds of thousands of people in need. Ongoing donations to Three Square’s Childhood Nutrition Programs can be made at bagchildhunger.org or by calling 702-644-3663, ext. 334.
